Hi Lovely World :)
So Sandy came and left without much of a scratch in the upper west side
of Manhattan (thank God).
But I keep hearing the horrors of the damage in the lower
parts of Manhattan and neighboring states.
I hope that rescue relief will arrive in a jiffy!
My bestie is currently staying over since her place is
without power or water.
She attends NYU for physical therapy and
they canceled classes all week.
so.lucky.
It reminds me of our days back in Miami when we would
stalk the news and pray that school was canceled :)
such good memories.
We are hurricane pro's over here, having endured
the worst hurricane of them all, Andrew, back in the 90's.
I hope everyone is safe and dry and loaded with plenty
of water and food :)
We got the munchies over here so we've been
snacking on these addicting mini Haagen daaz
coffee ice cream bars.
We love so-sour-that-you-cringe candy so we stocked up
on a few to help us get through Sandy
When I went grocery shopping last weekend,
I noticed that everyone was flocking towards
the popcorn and beer aisle,
so naturally I joined the herd on this one :)
We have been living off of tea here.
so good.

Lovely photos, definitely must have snacks for hurricane days. :) So glad to hear much was unscathed there, the news coverage is so devastating to see.
